Maldon's an old estuary town, and that changes how you have to clean it. The High Street and Market Hill are mostly listed Georgian and Victorian frontages with painted timber sashes, so anything abrasive is off the table. Move out to Heybridge, Heybridge Basin or the newer estates around Wycke Hill and you're looking at a totally different mix — UPVC, render, modern composite. Same postcode, two different jobs.
The other thing is the salt. Wind comes off the Blackwater estuary year-round and it dulls window seals and pits metalwork faster than people expect, especially on south-facing elevations closest to the water. If you've got an open view to the river, our advice is to clean twice a year rather than once.
We're 9 miles from Maldon and we work in CM9 every couple of weeks anyway. No call-out charge, no minimum spend. The quote you get in writing is the price you pay — only once the job's done and you've checked it yourself.

“We used Jordan for the first time today after seeing Facebook adverts and also a local flyer. Very thorough and professional. He cleans not only the windows, but the frames too. And in our case, he also cleaned our upvc dormer too. He uses purified water so that it doesn't leave streaks. Prices are very reasonable. He even cleaned one set of our solar panels at no extra cost. We have booked him to clean our windows now on a monthly basis. Very pleased.”

Yes. Most of Maldon's High Street and Market Hill is listed and we clean a lot of it. We use pure (deionised) water on painted timber sashes — no chemicals, nothing abrasive, nothing soaking into the brickwork. If your property has any specific conditions (English Heritage rules, certain windows that mustn't be touched), tell us first and we'll work around them.
If you've got an open view to the Blackwater (Heybridge Basin, the Promenade, Hythe Quay), the salt builds up faster than people expect. We'd suggest windows every 4–6 weeks instead of monthly, and a low pressure clean of any rendered or south-facing brickwork twice a year. We can put you on the round so it just happens.
No. As long as we can get round the back, we crack on and send before/after photos through when we leave. Most Maldon customers pay by bank transfer after the job's done — no card, no cash, no chasing.
